YELLOW DOG is 87% 2-row Malted Barley, 12% Malted Wheat, and 1% Chocolate Malt. There are no adjuncts, additives, or preservatives. There is a high dextrin content for body, and the color is golden amber. The Malted Wheat adds body, head retention, and a distinctive rich flavor. The small amount of Chocolate Malt adds color and a great "nutty" aftertaste. You can't make light-colored beer with YELLOW DOG, but we recommend it for all other beer styles.
